COVID-19 Update

Prairiealliancechurch   -

Dear PAC Family,

2 Timothy 1:7 tells us: “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

What an appropriate verse as we navigate Covid-19 (Corona Virus).

We do not have to live in a spirit of fear. Regardless what happens, we know the power of the God who has called us, and that He is in control. We also know that we have been given a spirit of love, so we need to do what we can to support our community throughout this time. This includes serving each other when appropriate, and when possible helping financially and practically with people whose income and livelihood is negatively affected in this time. We have also been given a spirit of self-control. We have been given a sound mind, and as such we are going to take steps to ensure the safety of everyone who is a part of PAC.

As many of you know, today our provincial officials have enacted a set of rules aimed at slowing down transmission of the novel coronavirus. Included in those measures was a ban on medium and large gatherings (defined as having 250 or more people).

Accordingly, beginning this Sunday March 15th, PAC will be hosting an online-only worship experience for our Portage campus until the threat of the coronavirus passes.

If you are on a ministry team at PAC, watch your email for more specific direction from your ministry leader. Neepawa services continue as normal until further notice.

You can catch our live stream on YouTube (Click Here) If you subscribe you’ll be notified when we go live. We would also encourage you to continue giving online as you’re able. (Click Here)

We would love for you to continue to partner with us as we pray for those affected and serve our community well. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Let us be clear: No one can cancel church! Church is the people of God, engaged in the worship of God, sharing the word of God. This means that church services can take many different forms – even ones that are digital!

See you on the little screen this Sunday!
